Using the cave as a design idea, in this case, the designer returned to the human desire for security. The cave-like and rustic space was created through the faux rock wall and rough texture of the art wall. Combining with the womb symbolizing the cradle of life, the whole living room TV wall was shaped into a huge womb body, with a flowing pattern to symbolize the amniotic fluid. The lighting strip showed the flowing ripple, like a flowing track of life.
The designer interpreted this space with a primitive and unadorned hand-made performance art model. When the client returned home, they could unload their armor and let this space contain and absorb all the stress and fatigue. Allowing the client returning to settle down when they come home, sorting out their emotions, settle themselves, and gaining new life.
To create an embracing, tranquil, yet vital space.
